The Causeway Bar
The Causeway is a newly renovated venue, with a capacity close to 300. The front room has the main bar, the DJ booth & urban art on the feature wall. This room feels very much like a party warehouse with the high ceilings, concrete floors & people to match. Walk down the brick corridor & you’ll find our back lounge. A second more boutique bar is situated here with couches & chairs spread across the rendered room. This is the place to sit down with your friends/ladyfriend & catch up. Then the third section of the venue is the courtyard, which also includes a half pipe. Come out here to get some air & chill.
Our music style is based around what is new on triple J. You won’t be hearing the top 40 pop tunes at this venue. Thursday nights are house & party anthems. Friday nights are up-tempo indie & electro tracks. Saturday nights start with breaks then move into hip-hop.
The Causeway was created to give a younger demographic a place to drink in Victoria Park. This is not your standard bar along the strip. This is evident when free party buses take patrons from the Causeway into the city at close each night.
